Because Security is Everyone’s Responsibility

At Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, safety and security are our top priorities. "SOAR" - Secure Our Airport Responsibly – is our security program. Its goal is to help law enforcement and Airport security identify suspicious activity.

Some examples of suspicious activity that passengers or the community may observe:

  • People conducting surveillance of the airport

  • Taking odd or unusual photos

  • Someone leaving luggage unattended

  • Vehicles in unusual locations

  • People asking unusual questions

  • Excessive or unusual loading of supplies

People who report suspicious activity could receive a reward check for $35. City of Phoenix employees who report suspicious activity can receive up to four hours of paid time off.
